ChuvSU Students in Yalta Became Winners of the Scientific-Practical Conference

Representatives of informatics and computer engineering faculty of the Chuvash State University participated in the All-Russian scientific-practical conference «Student internship – the key to their future profession» which was hosted by Humanities and Pedagogic Academy (branch) of V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University (Yalta).

At the plenary meeting a report was made by the head of ChuvSU computer technologies department Professor T.A. Lavina, who presented the experience in organizing work experience internship. 

In the section "Informatics and information technologies” the report “Web service for testing educators of the Chuvash Republic” was made by students Angelika Ivanova and Tatiana Ershova,

Alina Alukova and Ekaterina Maximova made the report "Development of web-based information system for a journal staff” and became the winners of the conference.

Working Meeting with Representatives of LLCResearch and Production Enterprise «EKRA»

On the 26^th of November a working meeting between I. N. Ulianov ChuvSU Rector A. Yu.  Aleksandrov and the advisor to the General Director of LLC Research and Production Enterprise «EKRA», the head of electricity supply and intelligent power systems department A. M. Naumov took place. It was also attended by the head of electrodrive department of the enterprise V.I. Vishnevsky and the Dean of energy and electrical engineering faculty at the Chuvash State University V. G. Kovalev. They discussed issues of joint staff training, research, strengthening the University laboratory facilities in the field of electric and drive equipment.

The Final of the Russian National Award «Student of the Year - 2018»

From the 21st to the 24^th of November Kazan hosted the final of the Russian national award "Student of the year-2018" for institutions of higher education. The project covered 63 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the total number of its participants was more than 5 000 people. The face-to-face stage of the project was attended by 300 best students. Three ChuvSU students took part in the final of the contest: Bragina Olga (Faculty of Medicine) – in nomination "Volunteer of the year”, Elena Fedorova – in nomination “Socially active person” and Yakovleva Polina (Law Faculty) – in the nomination "Monitor of the year”. They decently presented our University and the Chuvash Republic in this prestigious contest.

Chuvashia Hosted a Youth Congress on Entrepreneurship «Movement on Pro-Action»

I.N. Ulianov Chuvash State University in the capital of Chuvashia – Cheboksary – hosted a youth congress on entrepreneurship «Movement on Pro-action».

The opening ceremony was attended by the Chuvash Republic Minister of education and youth policy Sergey Kudryashov, the Commissioner for entrepreneurs’ rights protection in the Chuvash Republic Alexander Rybakov, the Rector of I. N. Ulianov Chuvash State University Andrey Aleksandrov, acting head of the town of Cheboksary, ChuvSU Vice-Rector for research Eugene Kadyshev, managing executive of the Chuvash branch of PJSC «Sberbank» Yuri Bychkovsky, representatives of business community of the Republic, schoolchildren, students.

Welcoming the participants, the Minister said: "The programme «You are an entrepreneur» has been implemented since 2012. – «Over these years more than 12 thousand young people aged 14 to 30 passed training: how to open their own companies and how to conduct their business». He emphasized: «Only during the past two years training was passed by 9 thousand people and most of them are schoolchildren. The sooner we start teaching the basics of business, entrepreneurship to young people, the stronger the economy of the Chuvash Republic and the Russian Federation will be, said Sergei Kudryashov.

Sergey Vladimirovich thanked the experts who participate in implementing the programme «You are an entrepreneur» and share their knowledge as well as practical experience with young people. He stated: "The Government of the Republic will do everything possible for young people to have opportunities to realize their creative ideas, projects that will benefit Chuvashia and Russia."

The Minister handed over the awards to the winners of the regional stage of the All-Russian contest «Young Entrepreneur of Russia-2018». The program «Young Entrepreneur» pays special attention to young people aged 14 to 17. 28 open lessons, the educational course "Business School", a business game were held with participation of young entrepreneurs, lecturers of I. N. Ulianov ChuvSU Economics Faculty. More than 700 schoolchildren became participants of the «You are an entrepreneur». 

Diplomas for victory in the Republican Olympiad among the youth aged 14-17 in entrepreneurship were presented by I. N. Ulianov ChuvSU Rector Andrey Aleksandrov.

Then participants of the Youth Congress continued their work in six educational platforms. More than 700 representatives of students and young workers and more than 25 leading federal and regional experts in the field of business participated in the work of educational platforms.

A Professor of the Chuvash State University Visited Chuo University in Japan

A Professor of ChuvSU archaeology, ethnography and regional history department O.V. Egorova visited Chuo University in Japan, which has been functioning since 1885 and is included in the top of the most famous and prestigious educational institutions on the planet.

During developmental assignment, meetings were held with University academic staff. The agreement to implement joint research and educational projects was reached. Classes on history, culture and ethnography of the peoples of Russia and Chuvashia were given to the students of political studies faculty.

In the nearest time it is planned to organize student exchanges and a return visit of Chuo University representatives to the Chuvash State University for signing an agreement on cooperation between the two universities.

Rally of Chuvash State University Student Labour Detachments Staff

Last weekend the wellness complex “Pearl of Chuvashia” hosted the IV Rally of Chuvash State University student labour detachments staff where more than 150 students, guests and partners of the University took part.

For three days students were getting to know each other, they were passing training, demonstrating their professional skills, participated in various competitions. According to the results of the competitions the best of the best were determined, those who proved their skills not only in word but in practice as well.

In the competition of professional skills «Best camp counselor of ChuvSU Staff» the 1^st place was won by Akopyan Asmik. The 2^nd place was won by Alena Blinova and the 3^rd – by Svetlana Podilkina. In competitions of professional skills among ChuvSU student construction teams the 1^st place was taken by the student construction team «Prospect, 15» and the 2^nd was shared by the student construction team «Energy 21»» and the student construction team «Good guys». Winnersandparticipantsreceivedpromotional gifts.

ChuvSU Students Participated in a Socially Important Promotion

The third Sunday of November is a world day of remembering road traffic victims. Students of ChuvSU Law Faculty and participants of the Volunteer Center did not leave behind this important day and participated in a socially important promotion. Together with the Traffic Police of Chuvashia students took part in the event, aimed at attracting attention of the general public to the problem of road safety. Students made posters with inscriptions, telling drivers and their passengers not to forget simple road rules. In the Church of the Nativity a memorial church office in memory of the deceased in accidents and for the health of all road users was performed. The event ended with a minute of silence. 35 white balls (according to the number of people died in accidents in 2018 in Chuvashia) were sent flying into the sky.

In Chuvashia Volunteers Were Awarded with Commemorative Medals of the XIX World Festival of Youth and Students-2017 in Sochi from the President of Russia

On the eve of World Youth Day in Chuvashia a bright event – the XIX World Festival of youth and students – 2017 in Sochi – was remembered and commemorative medals from the President of Russia Vladimir Putin were presented as well as gratitude letters to the volunteers of the Festival.

Four volunteers from Chuvashia: Irina Alekseeva, Margarita Afanasyeva, Inga Egorova and Vladimir Setnerov – were awarded with Commemorative medals and diplomas «For contributing in preparation and holding the XIX World Festival of youth and students 2017 in Sochi». The ceremony was attended by Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Alena Arshinova, Deputy Chairman of the Chuvash Republic Cabinet of Ministers – the Chuvash Republic Finance Minister Svetlana Enilina, Minister of education and youth policy of the Chuvash Republic Sergey Kudryashov, Member of State Council of the Chuvash Republic, I. N. Ulianov ChuvSU Rector Andrey Aleksandrov, volunteers of the XIX World Festival of youth and students 2017 in Sochi.

«The Republic was decently represented at the World Youth Forum, said Deputy Chairman of the Chuvash Republic Cabinet of Ministers – the Chuvash Republic Finance Minister Svetlana Enilina. – Commitment and team spirit of the Chuvash Republic team at the Festival was noted by many speakers».

The fact that people «in the Chuvash Republic are able to work in a team» was stressed by Deputy of the Russian Federation State Duma Alena Arshinova – «the more unified the team is, the higher is the level of trust to it». She also told that Chuvashia enjoyed an excellent reputation at the Federal level, and this made it possible to attract substantial investments to its development.

I.N. Ulianov ChuvSU Rector Andrey Aleksandrov expressed confidence that participation in the International Festival of young people would be remembered for a lifetime.

Victory in the Nationwide Competition "Student Cheer Dance Show League»

On the 11^th of November Yaroslavl hosted a nationwide festival-contest "Student Cheer Dance Show League". Its organizers were the Russian Youth Union, Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Fund-operator of presidential grants for civil society development, the Government of Yaroslavl region within the framework of implementing the Federal project «National prize for supporting the talented youth «Russian student's spring».

The competition was conducted in two stages: the team’s visiting card and home task. 11 teams came through to the final – those of universities from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tambov, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen, Kirov and other cities of Russia.  The team of I. N. Ulianov Chuvash State University in cheer-leading in the finals won the first place.

A Working Visit to the Volga State Technological University

On the 6^th of November the Rector of I. N. Ulianov Chuvash State University paid a working visit to the Volga State Technological University by invitation of its leaders. Interested dialogue took place with its Rector Shebashev E.V. and and its President Romanov E.M., in the course of which the participants addressed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation and further development of scientific and educational connections.

«ChuvSU-Atlanta»: Two Games, Two Victories

The women's basketball team “ChuvSU – Atlanta” successfully launched its new season in a new line-up. On the 27^th and the 28^th of October in the sports complex of the Chuvash State University it twice outplayed "Sparta" of Kuban technological University (Krasnodar) which was the silver medalist of student ASB Russia Superleague. The result of matches was determined during the last 5 minutes of the game. If during the first day the guests almost wire-to-wired, during the last minutes "ChuvSU-Atlanta” players managed to reverse the course of the match and win with a score 54:48. 

On the second day home players were ahead during the whole game, however, by the end of the final period, guests were able to equalize the score level. In extra-time 5 minutes "ChuvSU-Atlanta” once again showed its combative nature, its will to win and sportsmanship by a deserved victory with a score of 75:70.

Winners and guests from Krasnodar were congratulated by ChuvSU Rector A. Yu. Aleksandrov, who as a fan attended both matches.

The University hosted a Meeting of the Russian Schoolchildren Movement

I. N. Ulianov Chuvash State University hosted the third Republican meeting of the Chuvash regional branch of the Russian schoolchildren movement, in the work of which the President of the Chuvash Republic Rectors’ Council, ChuvSU Rector A. Yu. Aleksandrov took part as an expert in discussion sites.

The meeting gathered more than 700 pupils from schools of all regions and towns of the Chuvash Republic. At the opening of the meeting, its participants could appreciate the talents of students of I. N. Ulianov Chuvash State University as well as learned about opportunities of participating in the All-Russian competition "RDSh – the territory of self-management”. 

12 discussion platforms worked in the University classrooms, which gathered leaders of children's associations of various kinds: young journalists and editors of school newspapers and Internet pages in social networks, creative centres, health units, young environmentalists, young volunteers, young rescuers, young traffic inspectors, young astronauts. The experts were professionals, bright representatives of their professions: representatives of executive authorities at the Federal and regional level, rectors of leading universities of the Chuvash Republic, MEDIA editors, well-known television presenters and representatives of law enforcement agencies. Schoolchildren were able to learn firsthand about the specifics of activities, which they manage, and get tips from professionals.  The gathering ended with the meeting with the hero of the Russian Federation, the Commander of the submersible "Mir 2» E.S. Chernyaev.

The President of PFD Rectors’ Council R.G. Strongin Familiarized Himself with ChuvSU Scientific and Educational Base

On the 26^th of October during his working visit to I. N. Ulianov Chuvash State University, the President of the Volga Federal District Rectors’ Council, the President of N.I. Lobachevsky National Research Nizhny Novgorod State University, Professor R.G. Strongin, accompanied by ChuvSU Rector A. Aleksandrov, visited scientific-educational laboratories of radioelectronics and automation faculty, energy and electrical engineering faculty, the faculty of medicine as well as met with lecturers, staff and students. R.G. Strongin highly appreciated the work performed by ChuvSU collective in organizing the educational and research process, updating the material-technical base.

Public Observers Received Awards

Results of state final certification monitoring for 2018 were summed up. More than 100 students of I. N. Ulianov ChuvSU and I. Ya. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University took part in state final certification as public observers. The main task of observers is to ensure fairness and transparency of USE and CSE passing.

For excellent performing their duties all the students were awarded with certificates of federal public observers of the Russian Youth Union. The most active were awarded with letters of gratitude from the Deputy Head of the Federal service for supervision in the sphere of education and science, A.A. Muzaev. For promoting the ideas and projects of the Russian Youth Union among the youth and active participation in implementing the central programme of the Russian Union of Youth “Public observers Corpus" notes of acknowledgement were handed on behalf of the Russian Youth Union President P.P. Krasnorucky.
